When Devie and her children found themselves in urgent need of a safe place to stay, our partners at New Economics For Women directed them to HALA. We were able to provide them with shelter through our congregation program starting in January, aiming to support them during these difficult times. We witnessed Devie’s dedication as she juggled her responsibilities of taking her children to and from school and securing a new job. With the assistance of our Housing Navigators and Case Managers, the family successfully found a new home just last week. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the congregations that welcomed them, providing them with a sense of belonging. Congratulations to Devie and her family on this remarkable achievement!
