We Moved In!
July 15th was a special day for Ms. Polanco, a single mother of a six year old boy. The family had been homeless for a year, spending nights in mom's car and, eventually, in a shelter. Not only was the family unsheltered, but 6 year old Jehu was diagnosed with high barrier autism. This has been a struggle for mother Ruth, but she found hope when she was referred to FPV for homeless assistance. Immediately after the intake process, the family was approved and ready to find their new home. FPV then assisted them with personal hygiene, hot meals, and total move-in cost.
