Sanchez Family: Housed

Ms. Sanchez and her 5-year-old daughter were referred to HALA nearly two months ago by our partners at the City of Burbank. The family became homeless due to a loss of job and eventually loss of housing. The family moved into our shelter program where we provided housing, meals, and access to resources. We matched Ms. Sanchez with a full-time job at Disney where she has been making steady income. The daughter was in summer camp and this week started her first day in Kindergarten in Burbank. The family of two are now tenants in a one-bedroom apartment in Burbank. We look forward to watching the family grow and achieve stability.
