NCL Hosts Thanksgiving Feast

On Wednesday, November 17 the National Charity League Burbank Chapter hosted our very first Thanksgiving Dinner for 25 families. The NCL, a mothers and daughters volunteer group, decorated the gym at the site of the event, Emmanuel Church; a congregation partner. The NCL team was able to provide dinner which included turkey, mashed potatoes, and an array of side dishes. We would also like to acknowledge the amazing leadership from IKEA Burbank who donated food and volunteers their time. The event was a memorable gathering for many including families who are living in our motel program and are working towards housing.
