Meet the Valdez Family

The Valdez family consists of a single father and daughter who had been experiencing homelessness. The family had difficulty maintaining their housing after dad suffered a stroke in addition to ongoing health conditions when they were referred to HALA for supportive services. The HALA Team went to work, connecting dad to employment opportunities, immediate shelter and intensive case management.Just this past month the family signed a new lease on an apartment. Home Again LA jumped in with a security deposit and will provide aid for six months in hopes that The Valdez Family achieve 100% stability. Congrats to the family and continued well wishes.
