Homeless Prevention Support

Thanks to our United Way Rental Assistance program our staff was able to support a local family of two who had challenges that prevented them from being current on their rent. Challenges that were sparked by a loss of job. Referred to HALA by the local City offices, the case managers met with the family to discuss options. HALA jumped in with financial assistance but also created a case management plan; a plan that we will help the family tackle for the next few months, so the family achieves financial and housing stability. We are so thankful for the funding we can secure and bring to our local residents.
