On Sunday, October 18th, the UMe Credit Union graciously allowed the FPV community to transform the space into a bustling drive thru for our first ever Drive Thru Empty Bowl fundraiser. While we’ve never done it like this before, the annual Empty Bowl event has been a Family Promise staple for ten years now, and, aside from the redesign, this year was no different! The event saw 287 generous community members purchase tickets and sponsor the event, and those who attended were treated to restaurant certificates, goodie bags curated by our wonderful partners, and a commemorative, 10 year anniversary wooden spoon. To top it all off, everyone was also treated to their choice of soup compliments of Metropolitan Culinary Services. Thank you to everyone who supported Family Promise through the Empty Bowl event– we can’t thank you enough for supporting the cause and celebrating ten years of Empty Bowl with us!
