Contreras Family, Homeless No More

Ms. Contreras, a single mother of three had been experiencing homelessness due to many issues that were brought forth by the pandemic. The family was referred to HALA by a former client who we helped place into permanent housing. Since meeting our organization, the family was successfully placed into a shelter, and mom was able to obtain her GED and recently got hired! Ms. Contreras has worked so hard in making ends meet while providing the children as much love and support during this experience. We are excited to share with you that with our City of Burbank Rapid Rehousing program we have been able to place the family into permanent housing!
