Congratulations, Phillips Family

Meet the Phillips family! Ms. Phillips and her children experienced homelessness for over a year after their apartment unit was rendered uninhabitable. The family then lived in their car before moving into a small unit with another family. Eventually, they found themselves living in a local motel. However, with support from the FPV team, Ms. Phillips was able to secure work and the kids were enrolled into day care. Then, because of everybody's hard work, we have been able to help the family secure an apartment that they moved into on October 1st! This is the first time the family has lived on their own in quite some time. We intend to provide supportive services for the next few months so that the family is able to be fully self-sufficient. Congrats to the family, staff, and our community on a job well done!
