Clayton Family Housed

Meet the Clayton Family! The single mother with three teenage sons became homeless after separating from her partner and then losing her job. She had been living in a shelter for over 1 year before eventually joining our shelter in May. While living in shelter she began facing anxiety and depression. However, she shared she never felt so motivated after seeing the support our volunteers and partnering congregations provided her; including food, clothing, educational workbooks, and letters of support. This motivation created a new look at life... so much that she was able to attain employment, even during Covid, and as of this past weekend the Clayton FAMILY IS NOW HOUSED! We wish the family great success as they work with our Housing Stabilizer to build the confidence to become 100% self-sufficient in the coming months.
