Ceniceros Family No Longer Homeless

Tina and her daughter came to us in December after becoming homeless. Tina had gone through many trials while experiencing homelessness including couch surfing between friends’ homes and most times sleeping in her car. In May our organization approved the family for our Burbank Rapid Rehousing programs. Thereafter we were able to assist the family with a security deposit and up to six months of rental subsidies. In the coming six months our team will assist the family on their journey to becoming financially stable. During our short time with the family, Tina has secured employment working full-time at a warehouse, and her daughter recently shared that they are extremely happy to have a place to call home. Home Again LA provided the family with rental assistance, bedding, and some furniture to get them started. The family will continue to work with HALA staff to regain stability.
