Arzate Family Housed

Meet the Arzate family! The family of three has had a rough journey: after being evicted from a house they were renting, they quickly moved into their van. What was meant to be a short-term situation became nearly a year of being rejected from shelters that were at capacity. However, a phone call to Family Promise turned into an opportunity to move the family into a motel while we focused on advocating non stop to get them connected to programs that would make housing affordable. After much work, the family moved into housing this past month!!! We intend to continue to provide guidance to the family during this Covid era.
