On Saturday, March 24, 2018 Family Promise of the Verdugos took its annual Gala to Pasadena, CA to the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium. The evening kicked off with a tour of the Rose Bowl Stadium. Guests were able to sneak into the soon to be open unveiled, 1922 Museum, where memorabilia had been placed for all to enjoy.

The tour ended in the Stadium Club where guests were able to overlook the entire field, bid on silent auction items, mingle with fellow Family Promise supporters, and enjoy a glass of wine. Guests were able to enjoy their dinner in the Clubhouse followed by a program outside on the bleachers/ The program consisted of a live auction  and an awards presentation.

This years IMPACT Award was presented by Senator Anthony Portantino to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. PSJMC Chief Executive Kelly Linden accepted the award on behalf of the hospital. The award paid tribute to PSJMC commitment to Family Promise since opening our doors in 2010. The hospital, through its Mother Joseph Fund, has financially supported our shelter and enabled us to support hundreds of individuals experiencing homelessness.

The Hands On, Hearts In Award was presented to FPV founder, Jenny Smith-Greene. Jenny helped organize Family Promise during its infancy stage. Jenny served as Board President and helped secure resources in order to provide a safe and compassionate environment for homeless families with children.
